Each Mochila is handmade and unique to the woman who weaves it. The Mochila available here is purchased directly from a group of Native Colombian Arhuaco Women that weave them.

Cuando un joven arhuaco utiliza por primera vez su Tutusoma se compromete a resguardar el equilibrio y la armonía de la montaña. El color claro de su sombrero y su pelo largo y negro representan la nieve y la sierra que habita esta comunidad indígena del norte del país.
El Tutusoma hace parte del vestido del hombre arhuaco, atuendo que se complementa con unos pantalones y una túnica de algodón que lo protegen del frío de la montaña, pero que igualmente son utilizados en climas cálidos.
